The Atherton Show has a history dating back to 1903, and is now run by the Atherton Tableland Agricultural Society. 

If you are interested in becoming involved in ‘Bringing the Show to Town’ we encourage you to come along to a meeting and join as a member!

The Rooftop Express Wild West Arena Spectacular to headline at the Atherton Show 2019 from 7.45pm

After runaway success around Australia thev Rooftop Show is bringing the Heroes of the Outback to Atherton with some highly refined and visually enchanting stunts and moments that will take horse play and cattle mustering to a new level. Don’t miss it!   

The Rooftop Express Show is a first class arena spectacular that features world first stunts, true blue Australian comedy and awe-inspiring horsemanship. Its loveable bush characters and amusing storyline encourages crowd participation and family fun.  

The show will gallop in to the Atherton arena on Monday night the 8th of July and is the perfect show for anyone who has ever wanted to put on a cowboy hat! The Rooftop team saddle up with an all star line up of horses,dogs, cattle and their unmistakably blue IVECO trucks. 

Dave Manchon’s exciting style of arena show’s are celebrated as providing some of the most exhilarating and talked about moments scene in the equine industry. With headline performances across Australia and a list of world first stunts in his holster Dave Manchon is one to watch. Dave and his team have credits working in the film and television industry alongside their livestock as well as training and riding some of the top money earning performance horses in Australia.

Anthony Cootes has performed in numerous shows around Australia including a residency at Warner Village Theme Parks.With his own handle on true blue Aussie comedy, Anthony’s specialty rodeo acts have inspired laughter and finger pointing wherever he goes.  

David Manchon
has entertained crowds across Australia with his exciting horsemanship and is widely recognized as one of the rising stars of the horse industry. David was a lead performer at the Australian Outback Spectacular and has worked as a presenter for Network 10’s Totally Wild and Toasted TV. In addition David was the on screen mentor in Network 10’s and ABC’s Outback 8 kids program.  
The Rooftop Show pays homage to our primary industries and shows how the bush will continue to prosper in today’s modern Australia. My team brings a keen originality and a refined experience of performance only able to be conveyed to audiences through first hand experience of the outback and its characters, animals and way of life.
